N2 - Heavy Duty Lift & Turn Compression Latches
With its solid stainless steel shaft, and the enhanced leverage of its lift-and-turn handle design, the N2 compression latch tolerates heavier duty use than previous N4 T-handle compression latch designs (Maximum working load: 1000 N).
Its intuitive lever-action mechanism generates sufficient compression to hold doors snug and rattle-free, despite the vibration of heavy diesel engines or the shocks of rough terrain for example. A 6 mm of consistent pull-up compression provides a snug fit to dampen vibration and minimize noise. Multiple pawl options and adjustments accommodate a broad range of relative door-to-frame dimensions.
Ideal for heavy-duty applications in industrial, transportation and off-highway equipment, the N2 latches resist stress, shock and vibration common with engine covers, storage compartments and access panels. The easy-to-grip T-handle provides an ample handhold and folds down for minimal protrusion. The new medium size version is ideal for use with gloved hands. With both locking and non-locking models available—with or without a recessed cup—both the medium and standard size N2 latches provide flexibility for a wide variety of heavy-duty applications. Several cam options offer adjustable grip dimensions to provide flexibility to tailor latch performance to specific needs.

The common panel preparation requirements make the N2 an ideal retrofit solution (for N4 retrofit or others) ; for new applications, the N2 provides a more durable option than competitive slam and compression latches on the market.
