An innovative solution in the energy management field.
The new headquarters of the French shipowner CMA CGM, located in Marseille, will be a modern tower 33 storeys (about 147 m) high. It will provide 65,000 sq. m of usable space for 2,700 people. To optimize energy consumption, each lamp in the building will be controlled by PcVue, using the new Dali technologies in the lighting field, with WAGO equipment. The aim behind optimized operation of the 10,000 lighting units spread throughout the tower is to obtain energy savings of over 50%. PcVue is also to control the air conditioning system. The building is due to come into service late in 2009.
